Amos 5:14 Search for what is good and not what is bad, to the end that you people may keep living, and that thus Jehovah the God of ARMIES may come to be with you..

15) Hate what is bad and love what is good, and give justice a place in the gate..

17 ) 'And in all vineyards ther will be wailing, for I shall pass through the midst of you,' Jehovah has said.

The best encouragement comes directly from reading the Scriptures. Personal fellowship also has an important role in true worship:

(Hebrews 10:24,25) And let us consider one another to incite to love and fine works, not forsaking the gathering of ourselves together, as some have the custom, but encouraging one another, and all the more so as you behold the day drawing near.

The internet is certainly *NOT* the place for true Christians to find good association.

Actually Tienna it is the only way that I personally have any contact with the bible these days.

I'm glad that people post them because it reminds me how powerful a tool the bible is to keep us separate from God.

I forget how contradictory the bible is, and how often it is diametrically opposed to the teachings of Jesus. It is good to have these reminders, because much of our world is set up to be aligned with these false teachings that lead us away from God and the true teachings of Jesus.

These little scriptural reminders help keep me on the straight and narrow path that Jesus laid out for us. It is most helpful with respect to following Jesus' s ideas about being loving and nonjudgmental. The biblical quotes are often so judgmental and unloving that I am horrified and I quickly say a little prayer to Jesus thanking him for the reminder. I can't help but wonder how it is that people find comfort in these judgmental ideas when Jesus clearly told us to Judge not lest we be judged.

It shows me more clearly each day that the Bible is simply a lie that religion tells about God. Thankfully the lies do not change the real unconditionally loving God in any way.

Thanks for you help.
