If you have an ATM card - it will probably work anywhere in the world. ATM rates are the best available and ATM's are everywhere. The worst rates are using cash advanced on credit card. If you want to change cash - most banks or airport money changers have similar rates so it does not matter - but it is usually more convenient to change at the airport, banks have odd hours, and local money changers are OK too.

Don't go to the airport, they usually charge a very high premium over the currency that you changed. Go to the money changer, u can definitely get a much better deal.

As what i experienced, you can always get a better rate in thier local country, and of course not in the hotel; try to go to those authorized money changers along the street.....

Just use your ATM card. Make sure your bank at home does not charge you fees for using your card overseas first. That is the only place that you will not get riped off or get charged a bunch of money for exchanging.

always go the money exchange counter of the bank. Counters of international banks are preferable over local banks. But, anyday, banks are better than any other money changers.
