can i get any parasites from eating rice?

i found some small beige worms in my uncooked rice. I also found some little black bugs. what the heck are they?

Those are called cabinet bugs... They attack anything made of flour or wheat or old candy and chips and stuff... The worms are the larvae and the black bugs are adults. It is normal to get these every once in a while. Just go through all of the food in the cabinet and throw out everything with the bugs in them, then remove all the food and disinfect with a spray cleaner and wipe down, put back food and make sure there are NO bugs left, because they have both sex organs and can reproduce by themselves.

I would probably throw the rice out because of the "yuck factor," but you're going to be boiling it for a prolonged period of time, so the insects and larvae will be completely dead and unable to hurt you. (You weren't planning to eat the rice raw, were you? Not a good ides even without bugs.)

sounds like weavels,ive had them in a bag of flour before that was in the cuboard too long.theyre not paracites though.throw that rice and get some more

Ugh, you're supposed to wash the rice grains first before cooking them...

No...thats normal..since they are really prone to the little bugs. once you wash them out and cook them..they will be alright to eat and there's no parasite in it too:)
