I have a story from Winnipeg Manitoba there a cat named buddy who has been stuck in a tree for three days and i have no help from city to get him down. I phoned winnipeg police fire department, manitoba hydro, pet controll, winnipeg humane society and no one will help. He is so scared and crying all day and night. the sun beats down on him all day sometimes i look at him and he looks dead. How humane can people be. I would think that is abuse just to leave this poor cat in the beating sun all day. and not to for get to mention the frezzing nights we have now. The cat is so exhausted and worn out i dont think hell make any longer. I have pictures of buddy in the tree i can send. he was on the news tonight and radio and in the paper tommorow can you help us find someone to help him down
a cry from a animal lover.

I think you are right - it is abuse to keep that poor cat stuck up there. Get a ladder and get him down. Use heavy gloves, whatever. How can you not have done something by now?
Peace!
PS - I am sorry if I have offended you. I myself have gotten cats out of trees, and it doesn't seem that hard to me. Peace!

Borrow a cage from the animal shelter and call a couple of tree services for help. Those men know their way up in trees and one of them will probably help for free.Call the papers and TV,its a great human interest story and the tree service can't buy that kind of publicity. Good luck!

Use a ladder. It is funny how cats can get up a tree, but will never come down. It is disgraceful that the city won't help, but it sure does not surprise me. When you reach him, be careful. He is goung to be scared, hungry and thirsty. I would suggest using a pair of HEAVY gloves. Good luck.

Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?? If everyone leaves him alone he'll come down on his own.

I don't believe you, because your story doesn't conform to reality. You're just looking for attention.
