Feed her a healthy dog food and make sure she has plenty of water. Does she have her shots because she will pass that on to her pups in the milk. That will build their immune system against parvo virus and other viruses.
She will let you know she needs more food but what you feed her passes to them so don't give her table scraps and change her brand of food often because that upsets her digestive tract and will do the same to them. They will get cramps, stomach ache and diareah.
LOTS and LOTS of WATER for her and finger them some water when they get older about 3wks to keep them hydrated. I like to give warm water with a little cool milk to wean them off the mom.

they generally do have enough for 5 puppies, as long as her breasts are large, if you notice the puppies become weaker or less playful or lethargic, call the vet and I also suggest getting puppy milk replacement from walmart or pet stores or even tractor supply company. Usually you will be able to tell if there isn't enough milk by the size of of the breasts, and how low they hang. They should appear and feel full. Also make sure she is getting enough nutrition and make sure she had proper nutrition while she was pregnant. Hope this helps.

they will cry if hungry. mom will start weaning them around 4 to 5 weeks so about 5 weeks mix up puppy chow in some warm water or puppy formula and start feeding them and also put some dry puppy chow out for them to nibble on. they should stay with mom 8 weeks if possible because they learn alot from the mother. make sure the mother dog has plenty of food wet and dry while nursing because she will be hungry alot nursing and making milk for puppies. she will eat alot and needs it.. also PLENTY OF FRESH WATER

Make sure the mamy dog has enough to eat to produce all the milk her pups drink. cats/dogs/humans need more nutrition to produce the milk.

Feed her a good quality puppy food, adding some cheese, cottage cheese, eggs, etc(not all at once) and she should be fine.
