♥♫♦My daughter was the same way and here is what I did I clipped her ends all over not completely bald and not alot either. I got some rubber bands and I parted her hair where ever I could and put the rubber band around her hair like three times then I would use Sulfur 8 Shampoo and the grease. There is this other grease called Super B and it says Castor oil grease I also used that and once a week. And I washed it once a week and greased it like every two to three days I did the rubber bands once a week and in three months I was able to braid it and that is what I did I still used the same stuff but now with braids and barrettes and then it went on in 6 months she was able to have Bo Bo's. i hope that I have helped you.♥♫♦

Shaving won't make the hair grow faster, but it will expose the "thick" ends of the hair that's already there, so it will look thicker as it continues to grow at the same rate.

Other than that, there's nothing you can do, but your daughter isn't abnormal in any way. Just make sure she wears a hat in the sunshine, and her hair will come along soon enough.

shave her bald. i mean so her head looks like your knee. smooth! the old, nongrowing hair will be replaced by thicker hair which should grow faster from the stimulation. this is not an old wives tale, but just something that hasn't been "proven" but it worked on both of my kids. they looked funny for a few weeks but if the hair is already thin or whatever you have nothing to lose. the "bad" hair can be in the way of the good hair.

Be glad you don't have to worry about styling it. Believe you me, in the blink of an eye she'll be 5 years old with long, stringy hair you can't get her to keep in a ponytail! I was once a "bald-headed" 1-year-old, but that thin hair quickly accumulated & now I hate it with a passion! I need a haircut so bad but I have no time with all this Yahoo stuff!

Honestly don't worry about it. Her hair will grow in before you know it. Right now it is in it's baby fine stage and it is prone to breakage. When she hits the age around three or so her hair will grow out, but it might be fine/delicate. When she hits puberty it might thicken up.

Oh, don't worry. I think its pretty much normal I had alot of hair by the age of one. Be patient and it'll grow out sometime, your hair may have not grown out until you were one, so maybe its the same will your baby, right?

There are plenty of babies who are bald at her age. Try not to worry. What might help, and she will enjoy, is to massage her head. Use one of those soft-bristled baby brushes and maybe a little bit of baby oil and massage it into her head and just brush her scalp with the brush. It will feel good for her and stimulate her scalp and maybe help her hair grow a little faster.

Yikes...............

Uh.. don't worry about the hair. My sister had like NO hair when she was a baby, and she was still pretty bald by the time she was 4. Then all of a sudden.. boom! She had a ton of hair. It's really thick to this day. I'm jealous.. my hair is fine.

You can help by not making a big deal of it. Before long, it'll grow like the dickens.

Nothing to do other than wait. Her hair will eventually grow on its own.
