I took the first tentative steps to get the household off milk today, I bought some "Silk" brand soymilk to put in our coffee. My husband gave it a big "yuk" - said it tastes like hay smells.

I was trying to get away from cows milk and tried that soymilk
and you are right, it was gross. I tried rice milk -not bad for cereal
but not crazy about sweet milk to use in my coffee or tea.
Then I tried goats milk, it wasn't bad , keep it really cold and it will
do but it also has a underlying taste. So now i am back to 2% cows milk. Lactose pills did not help me and I do not like dairy
creamers in powder form.Yogurt is good, and I love ice cream,
which does not love me but I do not know what to try next.

I love Silk Soymilk, in every flavor I've come across. I'd love to find strawberry Silk Soymilk, but I have yet to come across it(and I don't mean those soy yogurt drinks.) The only way I like regular whole milk is ehen it's made into cheese.

I like Silk soymilk. I get vanilla because I don't like regular. I usually put it in my cereal and it tastes great. I rarely drink it alone...when I'm thirsty I usually go for water. But I definitely think it tastes better than cow's milk-that **** is gross.

I love Silk soymilk, but NOT the vanilla, which I think is disgusting.
I prefer plain, chocolate, or unsweetened. Since I hate sweet soy milk I don't know of any types that are like that.

I really don't like the vanilla or chocolate Silk at all, but plain Silk is fine in coffee or on cereal. I haven't tried drinking it, but then I don't drink much milk either.

My daughter can't tolerate milk, so when I'm at her house I use Silk and have had no problems at all with it. IMHO it tastes better than skim cow's milk, which ruins the taste of everything you put it on! I haven't tried Seventh Continent, but my daughter doesn't like it. Sometimes she uses plain Edensoy, which also is fine with me for cereal, etc.

Did you say Slik Soymilk, is that a brand and is it really slik? And if it is did you slik on it? Is your driveway slanted and if you pour some on your driveway could you slik on it? That's not gross that's fun. Did you taste it while you were slikking on it, and is that why you say it's gross? I really need to know.

Silk brand soy milk tastes good! I personally prefer rice milk. It's not as thick as soy milk and has less of an aftertaste. Also try almond milk, and oat milk. I got my mom hooked on almond milk and she is nowhere near vegetarian. It's yummy!

I love Vanilla flavored Silk Soy milk! I can't stand drinking cow milk(yuck yuck yuck), but Silk soy milk taste like nutty smooth...milk. I've tried other brand, but they were kinda strange. I'm sticking with Silk! (I wouldn't put it in my coffee, though. Taste kinda...strange.)
