im 17 and used to be slightly overweight, mostly because i dont exercise, not a lick. but for the past few months i have been exercising for about 2 hours everyday and have lost weight dramatically. theres only one problem, my body shape. i have really big bones i have seen and my shoulders so now that i have lost the weight i have an inverted triangle body shape. id really like to be an hourglass. i guess im really lucky that i my body can lose weight in less than two months with just a little exercise, but whats the point if im going to look like a man? im about 5'4.
could anyone this height measure their shoulders from tip to tip and tell me what lenght they are?
maybe this will give me hope to continue exercising and stay thin.

can any guy tell me if they find broad shouldered women sexier than hourglass? look at naomi campbell- people say shes got a sexy body but i think its hideous, she looks like a man with an airbrushed vagina and breasts.

Well we all have to work with the body we have, but I can say that straighter lines are easier to dress in fashion than curvier ones.

And when your shoulders are more broad than your hips every thing will drape more gracefully on you than when it is the other way around.

This should also help your legs look longer than they are. A definite plus considering your height.

Love what you got!

The point of losing weight is to look your best and be healthy. Being overweight is unattractive and unhealthy.

It sounds to me like you're not at all overweight. In fact, you may be underweight. Remember that your goal in exercising should not be to be as skinny as possible. If you go to far, it can be as unattractive and unhealthy as being too fat. Your goal in exercising is to reach your ideal weight, where you feel and look your best.

If you have been doing a lot of cardio, you might want to scale back on that and start doing more resistance training. You want to build your muscle strength and definition. Don't be ashamed of your broad shoulders. That is a very desirable shape for women - any modeling agent will tell you that. It sounds like your real problem is that your hips are too narrow. There's not too much you can do about that. You are still young and as you get older your hips will develop more. In the meantime, make sure you're not over-exercising and wear clothes that emphasize your hips and create the appearance of curves.

Maybe you should try toning the muscles of your lower body so that you can look more proportioned with your upper body. Focus on the leg muscles and try building them up. I'm not suggesting to do major bodybuilding here, but building some muscle in your legs may help you look more proportioned and give you a nice shape overall. Also, by building some muscle, you'll be burning more calories than before.

i think maybe it is too dramatic of a change for you.if you really don't like it you can still do moderate exercising and stay an hourglass.it doesn't matter as long as your healthy and happy.

if you look athletic, thats sexy, if you look like a russian weight lifter, thats not. no matter what shape you have, no guy likes fat girls.
