I am in charge of "food" for the game tomorrow. My wife is gone until kickoff. I need some good ideas for appetizers for the group. Anything specific to the rivalry would be great as we have Bear fans and Cheeseheads. I was thinking of stuffed mushrooms and fried rice and my wife thought that was funny before she left. Help!!!

How about a cheese quiche? Or BBQ meatballs? Those are super easy to make. Just buy a box of frozen italian meatballs, toss 'em in a crock pot or microwavable safe dish and add your fave BBQ sauce. Let simmer for an hr or microwave for 4 mins or so...Another idea is to buy some buns or potato rolls and mozza cheese to make them into Meatball sandwhiches.

You can also get the fixins for Chicago style dogs and make Brats for the Cheese curtin Rivalry..

In case your wondering - Im a former Cheese head :-P

Make up a meat and cheese tray (or buy one from the store for convenience). Bread bowl dips are good. Cheesy soup for Cheeseheads, chili and dogs for Bears. Veggies are good too for dipping (can be gotten from the store too). Nachos, chips, salsa, guac, chili, sour cream or ranch. Be creative! It's a football game!

P.S. Go Iowa State Cyclones today!

Chili No Bean Dip: Take 1 pkg cream cheese and spread it into a pie plate. Top with a can of chili without beans. Top the chili with shredded cheddar bake at 350 intil cheese melts, serve with tortilla chips. THIS STUFF ROCKS!

Why not consider grilling up some brats and other German sausages, slice 'em and serve with several diffrent mustards?

I'm from Chicago, so I understand your dilema with both fans, so good luck!

I believe you on it being an exceedingly tight branch butcome on dude your going to get that with any die stressful followers who're stable supporters of their group who've an oppertunity to win the branch. So i assume your fact approximately "smoking some thing" can choose for Bears followers too precise with the aid of fact they seem to think of there going to "tear up" the branch? How the Vikings greater or nevertheless can strengthen this offseason: If the Vikings do get Brett Favre ('08-'09 professional Bowler) which maintains to be to be unseen yet yet that ought to open up that offense notably basically with the help of him being decrease than middle. The working game could open issues up as opposing defenses could now no longer have the flexibility to consistently have 8 adult men interior the field basically with the aid of fact they comprehend we've some style of passing ability. They drafted Phil Loadholt interior the 2d around who ought to be a starter precise away who will help the run at 6'8" 340LBs. Percy Harvin may be utilized in many distinctive techniques and whether Favre comes to a decision to no longer play. they could have the flexibility to establish a equipment of performs comparable to what Steve Smith makes use of in Carolina with speedy slants and WR displays. the only reason Harvin went so overdue interior the draft is as a results of the fact city Meyer had certainly one of those stable offense they did no longer continuously ought to apply him. The Vikings protection is sweet 5 interior the league and that they come back certainly one of our perfect gamers and underrated LBs... EJ Henderson who's a "group preferable tackler" form guy. it rather is going to likely be an in depth interior the NFC North rather
