Personally I love the following:
Take a slice of multigrain bread,
slap on a slice of mature cheddar,
lots of sliced tomatoes,
sprinkle a little white pepper on it,
add another slice of a different cheese (personally I like Port Salut),
and top with another slice of bread.
Then melt a little butter in a frying pan and "toast" the sandwich on both sides until the cheese has melted.
Mmmmmmmmmm, yum!

i love making lots of crackers, rice cakes, toast etc with different toppings like
cream cheese and marmite
cream cheese and homey
slice cheese and apple
tapenade with rocket
pesto and sliced tomato
or any combos in your fridge!!
otherwise can't beat pitta pizzas:
warm the pittas
spread tomato puree or ketchup on it
grate some cheese and add any topping you can find like olives, fresh basil, sliced tomatoes, peppers etc
put under grill for 5 mins and ready
if you got a sweet tooth then i like a nice hot chocolate with soya or normal milk whisked with a little baileys adn some marshmallows! naughty!

I'm a Jain, we are against all sorts of cruelty to animals / insects / fruit / everything. We can't cause any living thing to suffer & our priests are often naked (don't know why to be frank?) & sweep the ground before they walk over it. We are STRICT VEGETARIANS!
We CAN however eat fruit that has fallen (rather than been picked) from a tree, we can also eat animals which have died.
In the ashram I live in when we are hungry we take one of the chickens out & tether him in the fast lane of the M6 & go back in an hour. We can eat road kill you see!

Bananas contain an ingredient to help you sleep, however never eat protein before bed because it will be had to sleep. Toast with jam is also good or boiled potatoes in their own broth. Just don't eat til your full or it will do the opposite. Fruit that is high in sugar is also bad to sleep on .

Get a decent frying pan.... or skillet
heat it up. Dry, no oil!!
Once it is hot, add sunflower seeds. Keep them moving.
As the sunflower seeds start to go brown add some pumpkin seeds. Be careful , they will start to 'pop' as they get hot.
Once the pumkin seeds start to pop, transfer the lot to a dish and sprinkle with Tamari (Japanese soya sauce). Eat while still warm. It is lush.
mmmmmmmm - think I'm gonna have to go do some myself, now!
Back soon.........

Oh, here's a dirty little secret. Raw vegan cookie dough. 1 tablespoon light vegan margerine (unless you're stuck with full fat) 1 tablespoon of brown sugar. Cream it together and add flour little by little until you have a cookie dough consistancy. Add a drop or two of vanilla if you are feeling gourmet.

a banana sandwich made with wholemeal bread - and if you have a little left-over clotted cream lurking in the fridge use that instead of butter. I make no apologies for my indulgent night time eating habits!

Pineapple is pretty refreshing as a snack. =) Well, of course there's other snacks too such as carrot sticks with ranch, apple slices in caramel, and Ritz crackers with pudding and banana. =)

Yet another blueberry muffin.
Do the blueberries count as a portion of fruit if I consume enough muffins do you think?
