give them 3 options
1) meat, cheese, crackers, sardines and onions
2) fresh fruit with honey and/or cool whip
3) fresh veggies, pickles, and olives with some type pf dip, probably ranch but honey mustard works
throw in some good pretzels for the hell of it

What is the age Group? Chips & dip, and finger foods, like some baby carrotts, cut up celary, and cucumbers, (With Ranch dressing for the dipp in the middle.) Maybe some sweets, cookies, coffee cake, etc. You're supplying the party, so no one will really complain as to what it is. Finger foods are great for less clean up. THose little Pizza rolls are good too. Have fun.

Cook a 1/2 pound of hamburger and drain out fat. Put the hamburger, a brick of velveeta cheese, a can of Rotel tomatoes, a teaspoon of chili powder in a pan and melt them together on the stove top. Serve with dipping chips. Very hearty and filling. In fact, we have even had this for dinner a couple of times.

Make a taco filling in a bowl and mix in onions, peppers and tomatoes and serve with tortilla chips. Guacamole and salsa is a good dip for tortilla chips too so I would say do all 3 for variety.

If you are having them over for Drinks why do you need snacks?
Chips and Salsa and Nuts and Pretzels..
If you want to cook then Piggies in a blanket are good

I would serve finger foods, or actually you cant go wrong with pizza! maybe :
pizza rolls
chips and dip
lil Smokey's
lil sandwiches
cheese and meat platter
all kinds of junk food!Pig out! Have Fun!

Shrimp Cocktail would be my personal favorite snack at a party ;) Make sure you provide lemon, it's better than cocktail sauce - lol
Of course there is always chips/dips and cheese/crackers.

chex mix,, tortilla chips, add some salsa to cottage cheese,, and buy some hot cheese sauce, ,always a hit,
fake crab dip and ritz crackers, too
