yes it is possible because herpes is a virus which take advantages of the low defenses of a person, so it is common to have them when you are under stress or with any other disease like flu or in women just before the period, so it is probably that your boyfriend has a good inmune system and he either didnt get it or it is not having syntoms

It always depends on the other person.

I don't think there is a percentage factor here. You were probably shedding when you kissed him and shared a cigarette, but that doesn't mean he's going to contract it. I can't give you odds, because I don't think they exist.

I've been with my boyfriend 2 1/2 years, and my sores come on pretty quickly, I feel a tingle, and it seems the next minute it's full blown! He's thankfully never gotten it, whether his immunity is great, or luck, or whatever. I was not so lucky when I contracted it. I kissed my boyfriend (at that time) and I got it.

Herpes are very contagious. He may possibly get them. It does depend on his immune system. If you have a outbreak, avoid foods with an amino acid known as arginine. It could exacerbate lyour symptoms. Foods like Peanuts, sesame seeds, pumpkin seed and squash are a few. High doses of Vit C might help stimulate your immune system to fight the virus that caused your condition.

Zinc applied topically will help dry it up and also heal quicker.

Herpes is a desease of the nerves it only stays on one side ofthe body & will never spread to the other side at the same outbreak becides its not contageous & i dont think it should be in the category of STD's

You only pass it on when the virus is there and weepy. Anyway he may not ever get one. My mum gets them all the time and Ive kissed her and have never in my life had one. Some people are resistant to them. Time will tell if you have passed it on but I think the chances that you have are pretty small.

Oral herpes are terribly contagous. You can pass them when you are asymtomatic.
You gave them to him.
