Honestly is does NOT sound like herpes. Chances of a person contracting herpes from just sleeping next to someone with it are pretty rare.
The initial outbreak or first outbreak of genital herpes is EXTREMELY painful. I was in so much pain I was crying during my physical exam at the doctor. She had to give me a prescription for Vicodin. I had to take two days of work off because I could hardly walk and even sit down I was in so much pain.
It sounds like it may be just some pimples or ingrown hairs. Ingrown hairs in the genital area can be painful and can last up to a week. If you want, you can always look at some images of genital herpes online. It's not the prettiest thing to look at but it will give you an idea of what they look like so you can compare it to what you have.
If you really want to make sure it's not herpes go to the doctor and get tested. It's a simple blood test and the results are usually back within a few days. Good luck!

Symptoms of herpes usually develop within 2 to 20 days after contact with the virus, although it could take longer. These symptoms may last up to several weeks, varying from one person to the next. In many people, the first infection is so mild that it goes unnoticed. In others, the first attack causes visible sores. Even so, subsequent recurrences of the disease may cause lesions. When the sores are completely healed, the active phase of infection is over. Healing of the skin usually leaves no scars. In either case, the virus retreats into the nervous system and lies dormant.
Typical symptoms
The virus starts to multiply when it gets into the skin cells. The skin becomes red and sensitive, and soon afterward, one or more blisters or bumps appear. The blisters first open, and then heal as new skin tissue forms. During a first outbreak, the area is usually painful and may itch, burn or tingle. Flu-like symptoms are also common. These include swollen glands, headache, muscle ache or fever. Herpes may also infect the urethra, and urinating may cause a burning sensation.

i'm no expert, but it doesn't sound like herpes. sounds like genital warts. They may go away on their own, but the best thing to do would be see a doctor. also, sleeping naked with someone is almost as bad as having unprotected sex, which i guess you've now learned. first, the fact that you're both nude means you are contaminating the bed with bodily fluids (both of you), which means an exchange is taking place, touching or not. it's really rare to spread it that way, but it is possible. also, keep in mind, you slept, but that doesn't mean the other person did. not to make you more scared, but you don't know what that other person was doing when you were out. it's a sick thought, but it's a possibility. sorry hun. best of luck in fixing that.

Herpes will hurt.
Could it have been an ingrown hair? Yes.
Could it have been a cyst down there? Yes
It lasted more than 4 weeks? Not good.
H. Ducreyi is painless, and so are some of the other STD's.
Go in and get checked out just in case.
Alot of them can be treated.

It sounds like its just a pimple. People break out here an there depends on the person but I mean you make it sound like its realy deep. If it just in your pubes I dont know could be hair bumps or something. Best bet please go get checked out, If it looks like a small problem its not good for other people to see this an to freak out so go get checked out immediatly, and dont sleep with naked people unless you know somewhat of there sex history thats about all that I can give you.

Molluscum Contagiosum ( IT MIGHT BE, BUT CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR TO BE SURE! )
This sexually-transmitted pox-virus causes small, benign skin tumors to grow on the vulva, which are usually symptomless.
The tumors appear as dome-shaped lumps, 1-2 mm in diameter with tiny dimples in their center, and contain a white, cheese-like material.
Treatment involves scraping off the lesion with a sharp dermal curette, and then coagulating the oozing base with Monsel's solution or AgNO3 sticks and applying direct pressure. Cryosurgery is also effective, as is the application of trichloracetic or bichloracetic acid directly to the lesion (taking care not to disturb the surrounding normal skin.)
Left alone, they will generally resolve spontaneously after 6-12 months, but the patient remains contagious for as long as she has them.

Go to a gynecologist. We can't give you a definite diagnosis over the computer and I am not gonna tell you you have a STD when I don't even know. I do suggest going to see a doctor though. No matter what it is, it needs to be treated. Good luck and be careful who you sleep naked next to!

Go to the Doctor, or you can call your local hospital. They should have a help line of some sort and they can give you what ever information you need. But it sounds like you need to go talk to your doctor, he may have something to put on the area!

Sounds like a STD of some sort, not to scare you but there's no cure for Herpes. It only takes one time, no protection to get a STD. Never again eh?
