Cosmo,
I know you will not
like my answer,
but I'll share it
anyway.

I remove all
my veggies from
any container,
wash them thoroughly,
dry them thoroughly,
and then place them
in veggie ziplocks,
and presto, they last
longer, and are ready
to use at a second's notice.

In the long run, you may
learn to like the time saving
when preparing, cooking, or
simply snacking.

If you decide not to follow my
suggestion (which would of
course hurt my feelings)
at least make certain the
plastic wrap has some
punctures or 'air' holes
so the veggies may
breathe....

Happy veggying!

I lave it on unless I'm doing herbs which I actually take them out and clean them with a damp cloth, then let them dry and then I wrapped them in paper towels sprinkle it with water and them I stick them into a big ziploc bag and store them that way on the fridge. they really stay good for a long time.

The veggies need to breathe but don't leave them totally unexposed if you didn't purchase them like that.

on! but poke small vents about 2 or 3 small 1/8 inch hole across top. this lets them breath but not dry out.

leave on unless it wets the food.
If it is dry, leave it on. It'll keep the vege fresh
