I want to have a 40th b-day party for a friend but my place is too small. We're on a budget & want it to be in a public place, instead of someone's house. Any suggestions?? thanks!

My two cents:

-A bowling alley

-A BBQ or Picnic in the park

-A Chinese restaurant: most Chinese restaurants are known for catering on a budget and having "family/banquet rooms".

-At a nightclub that hosts live music...that way you get the live music as a bonus, the drinks are covered since there's a bar...just talk to the owner and tell them you'd like to host a b-day party there. They are usually cool about it because they know they'll make decent money from your crowd.

-An upscale billiards establishment...(not your local pool hall).

A park...one that has picnic benches and an overhead shelter in case of rain.
