Last week the pain got so mad that I almost passed out. I have to use a walker and sometime my scooter to get around. The doctors don't act like they could care less about how much pain i have sometime. I need help!!! Oh yes I am A diabetes it is controled

Apparently there is more going on with you and I suggest you see neurologist. If the pain meds are not working then perhaps there is something else going on. Some doctors just don't care..am sorry to say that but they don't. Have you tried a pain-management clinic? I do know that diabetes does affect the legs to the point that the circulation is not good. Please do yourself good by checking out another doctor.

Yes, I think you need to tell your doctor that you want to see a specialist. It seems that you have diabetic neuropathy, and it will always hurt you no matter how well you diabetes is controlled. See if the specialist can give you some better pain relievers.

Sometimes I hear moving around helps alot from patients.

Your community hospital should have a pain management program.

You referred to 'the doctors' but not what type of doctor. Neuropathy can be caused by things other than just diabetes, although that's likely the cause or contributor of it. You should see an endocrinologist, if you haven't already, and a neurologist.
