I had unprotected sex about 4-5 months ago. And since i get worried i tested for HIV and it becomes negative .I am so happy. But i am still worried cuz what if the months arent enought to know the correct answer. Help me please does it mean i am still not save to know for sure ot atleast 98%.Help please.

You need to read up on HIV. I believe it can hibernate inside someone for years & not show any signs or symptoms.
BUT I believe if they're testing for it-looking for it then they'll find it if someone would in fact have it. Not sure how early on it can be detected. You need to remember1 time is too many times for unprotected sex!!
Get tested.

Usually it is suggested that if you have a negative test to go back in 6 months and get tested again. Usually what is being tested for is the HIV anti-bodies and not the virus itself.

If the tests come back negitive then you don't have the strand in your blood.

Your good, just don't have unprotected sex until you know that your partner has nothing.

you should be tested annually, and every 6 months if you're promiscuous. You should always get tested, even if you practice safe sex...it's just good to know where you stand in terms of STD's.
