Do you have a reason not to trust her?

Some girls constantly lie about having been raped, being pregnant, having an abortion, etc. They usually do this to get a guys attention or have them feel like they have to stay in the relationship with her. I know, sad, but true.

If she never lies and seems truthful about then why would you not believer her? If she constantly lies though, I think I might be a little suspicious about it.

Since you'cve put this in the STD category I assume she has an STD and has told you she was raped and that's how she got it.

This does make her story sound dodgy id she only told you once she found out about the STD. If she told you before then there is no obvious reason not to believe her.

it is sadly true that some women do lie about this to cover up`infidelity but if it is true you'd be very wrong to assume she was lying when she wasn't. Tough call.

Why would someone make something up like that? Well we have to consider this....

What if she actually had consentual sex with someone and she just wanted to "cover her ***" if she picked up an STD or something and then spread it over to you... or maybe she wanted to cover it in case she got pregnant.

BUT WHAT IF SHE WAS TELLING THE TRUTH? I think we all have to ask ourselves what we are doing...and if SHE was RAPED ~ well you need to go to the police, even if she does not want to... if there is a rapist out there ` well the rapist must be brought to justice...... There is an issue of the rapist potentially going out and raping someone else ...and so as to say.....

Let's hope nobody woudl ever LIE about something like that, it is a serious issue.

Only if she's lied before about such a serious thing. This is a terrible accusation to make if it's not true.... rape ruins millions of lives every year and is an extremely serious crime. Your g/f if she is telling the truth needs to see a doctor, counsellor and police straight away, she can't deal with this alone. And if she has lied, forget her, that's up there with pretending to be pregnant on the deceit list.

If you have a reason not to believe her, then you shouldn't be with her. Trust is paramount in relationships. If she says she's been raped, whether or not you believer her, you should probably try to help her. Encourage her to go to the ER and get checked out, take her to the police station and help her fill out a report, ect.... What if it was you? Wouldn't YOU want help?

Not only should you believe her, but also give her support and care, and try to make her feel safe and protected around you.

By telling you that she had been raped, she made herself vulnerable to you. You have to understand how much courage it took and how much damage has been done, both physically and mentally, to have oneself violated.

it's a shame if she's lieing you shouldn't have to ask random people to answer a question like that relationships should be built on complete trust with the other person unless she has a mental disorder that makes her lie which people can have or just wants you to feel sorry for her so you become cloer to her

Well as you have given no other details to go on I would say yes. Why wouldn't you? Is something not ringing true?
