I cut out meat based upon health reasons... When eating the meatballs, cheesteaks, or whatever, I'd end up with IBS symptoms. (Running for the bathroom sucks.)
I fully understand the people that decide not to eat meat because of the horrible way that our livestock is fed antibiotics and such, and the way that the livestock is killed. I agree with them, but am not going to picket in front of the factory farms.

Do vegetarians eat meat?

There are many reasons, probably as varied as the people. Some don't want to kill animals in order to live (and frankly, if I had to do my own killing I don't think I could, anyway.)
Some, like me, just prefer fruit, vegetables and pulses to meat. I don't like the way raw meat smells or feels when I have to handle it. And I think raw dead fish are just gross! However, I do eat milk products and eggs.
Others are vegetarians for religious or philosophical reasons such as a belief in reincarnation etc.
And then there are people who simply have trouble digesting animal protien, whether it be eggs, milk or meat, or for other medical reasons. So they turn to plant protiens instead, like soy and seitan (gluten).
We're all individuals and have tailor-made reasons and motivations for what we do and what we eat or don't eat.

I'm a vegan because i love animals and don't agree with or want to eat them, i also don't use any products from animals either as i don't think humans have the right to use animals in any way, they are not on this earth for our purpose.

Everyone has different reasons. Some religious reasons, some are animal activists, health reasons, etc. I personally decided not to eat meat because I wanted to be healthier. I cut out pork and red meat first. Then everything else I cut out gradually.

Because they are vegetarians!

There are several reasons. Some don't want to eat dead flesh, some don't like it, some don't eat it for enviromental reasons and some do it for health.

For the same reasons that non-vegetarians eat meat....we choose to. Simple as that. We all may choose for different reasons, but it all comes down to the simple fact that we choose to.

Various reasons.
Some do it just for health reasons.
Some because they love animals and can't stand the thought of eating one.
Some because of the current state of our farming system and how inhumane it is.
Some just don't like the taste of meat.
