Yes,they can be related to diabetes. Also prone to all kind of infections.Sounds like your diabetes is not under control....and don't listen to "Craft Girl" about eating raisens....these are really bad for diabetics and can send your blood-sugar level soaring. Take a urine sample to your diabetes nurse or clinic and they'll give you a blood test. Hope it gets sorted out soon.

Boils are another way your body tries to expell unwanted entities. Much like pimples. However a bad diet and poor nutrition levels in your blood can make them worst.
As a diabetic you have to be extra careful with these because it isn't difficult for them to become infected. Yes, diabetes can contribulte to the severity of the boils and you should speak with your doctor about them.

Diabetic patients often have weakened immune systems. I recommend that you read the Encyclopedia of Natural Medicine by Dr Murray ND. It contains very good chapters on Diabetes, on how to practice a healthy life style and build up your immune system to better deal with infections, and also has a chapter on boils and how to deal with them. Don't stop working with your allopathic doctor however. Do not make any major changes in your life regarding health and treatment without his knowledge and consent
Good luck & God bless!

ireally can relate! go to doc for some antibiotics, mine ,on my chin i could feel tiny lumps under my skin, after i had baby & aged, the lumps dissappeared. i know that sunshine is good for this, donot use lotions.it is also somehow related to your immune system. do eat more salads & rasins. do not mess with them, i have scars from it. good luck btw, while i was pregnant , i ate very healthy . i use to eat lots of snacks & craved a lot of chocolate- i don`t now, maybe once you get all that sugar out of your system-it helps- i don`t crave it now. so yes it could be related to your diabetes

My husband (who has hyperinsulinemia but not diabetes) has them.
I think they are related to his sugar intake, but I am not sure. Are you controlling your diabetes with medication or diet or both?
