After at least 8 hours of nothing to eat it should be 70-110 any thing under that is concidered low and anything obove that is concidered high.

I am a nurse and diabetic, most doctors will tell you between 70-120 or 70-110 depending on the doctor and what you have eaten that day. LOL

your fasting blood sugar level should be 70 - 110.. it should be taken early in the morning before taking anything to eat.. you can also check in any time of the day as long as you havent eaten anything 4-5 hours prior to that

ya go with the first answer... between 80-120 is what is accepted in Southern California Emergency Medicine. If you are below 80 you get a dose of glucose and if you are above 120 you get a fluid challege.... thats in the ambulance....

the average runs about 120....but it also depends on the person...some run higher....some lower....I'm not diabetic but I do know my sugar runs around 85 on most days

3.5 to 5.5 but mine is higher at 7.3 and my midwife said thats fine so who bloody knows
