Yes and no. If you've read the previous posts, then you probably realize now that it depends on how well you take care of yourself. Many diabetics are either in denial or simply don't want to be bothered and, unfortunately, they are giving diabetes a bad rap. It does not have to be as bad as it is made to be by these people. Taking care of onesself is as simple as reading and learning:

For type I and type II diabetics (and those who are overweight and could potentially become diabetic). Copy and bookmark the webpages I‘ve listed below… they are invaluable for those with diabetes and/or weight problems...

I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. Some folks who became diabetic due to poor diet and obesity are effectively cured by following the advice in this book. I'm a type II (inherited), but it helps all types, especially those who became diabetic due to poor eating habits. It's by an author who has really done his homework, Patrick Quillin, Phd. It's called, "The Diabetes Improvement Program". I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day. I have been off Metformin for as much as a week, but this was with vigorous exercise. Many, what I call, non-hereditary type IIs (those that don't have a close relative who had it) have gotten off medication completely, just with diet, exercise, and supplements. So, in some instances, it most certainly can be 'effectively' cured. Read more about it here:

The book explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically diet, supplements, and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorption? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides. This is according to the USDA:

For men: Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? I was. Yes, WAS. Now that everything's under control, I'm able to have nearly normal sex again. I've also put together a little webpage highlighting some of the things I've learned here:

YES, it can be very deadly. There are several complications from being a diabetic.
You can also loose a limb from diabetes.
You can go into a diabetic coma.
Diabetes is not something to play around with.
My mom is a very bad diabetic, 4 shots a day, 2 pills a day, she passes out at anytime, anywhere. She shakes all the time, she vomits, she is tired all the time. She bruises soooo easily, her wounds do not heal, her immune system is shot to hell.

And this is a woman who tries to do what the doctor says to do.
I have a bad history of diabetes in my family. Members have died, lost limbs, gone into coma's and the list goes on.

So far I have been lucky and do not have, nor do I have signs of diabetes. I eat right, I exercise as much as possible with my disability (back) and I keep my weight at or below what is correct for my height.

I am writing to tell you what an incredible impact these methods had on my life! I have had type 2 diabetes for 27 years. For me, the worst part of this horrible disease is the severe pain I constantly get in my feet. The pain is so bad that I avoid standing and walking as much as possible. I've got to tell you that within the first month, my feet stopped hurting altogether and I can now walk totally pain free.

Believe it or not, I even danced at my niece's wedding last month, something I have not done in a many years. I've been following the book for six months now and my blood sugar is well within normal range. I feel great!

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Generally..........No
If it gets worse then it will. Pretty soon.

Diabetes can cause serious health complications including heart disease, blindness, kidney failure, and lower-extremity amputations. Diabetes is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States.

When you have diabetes, your body either doesn't make enough insulin or can't use its own insulin as well as it should. This causes sugar to build up in your blood.

To avoid from complications that will lead to death, people with diabetes must take responsibility for their day-to-day care, and keep blood glucose levels from going too low or too high.

So, if you don't want to get killed by diabetes, you must maintain proper diet.

It's a matter of controlling the sugar in you..

In and of itself, diabetes is usually not deadly. Diabetics die because of the damage done to organs by the diabetes. However, if left uncontrolled, your sugars could go so out of whack as to affect your brain directly and cause a severe incapacitation which could lead to death. That's why it's important to treat diabetes.
