If you give a mouse a cookie, of course you offer milk,

If you give a Moose a muffin, you might offer him some tea,

I think if you were nice enough to give it a cookie, it's awfully rude for the mouse to also demand that you give him milk, too. Perhaps he should treat you to a milk, since you took the time to bake for him.
