thats so awsome if i lived closer i would crash that party .steve rocked .i would think some alligator tail would be proper (seriously
i also would recommend a jalapeno popper
step 1.remove all seeds from pepper
step2.stuff pepper with cream cheese(my favorite is pineapple)gives it a sweet with the hott.
step 3.wrap raw bacon around pepper(be sure to cover top of hole so cheese stays in.
step 4.use a toothepick to keep bacon on pepper and simply put on top rack of bbq.
some tips.soak toothpicks in water for about 10 min.
put some foil under grill (not peppers )we want bacon crispy.
when crispy they are done
takes about 30-45 minutes

Good for you for being so positive! Here in Australia we would throw raw prawns(shrimps) on the Barby but also sausages, steaks, chops, onions, mushrooms, potato slices. Make sure there's plenty of cold beer and wine. Wish there were more people on Answers like you :)

I just wanted to say that not only was Steve Irwin not a vegetarian, but he felt vegetarianism was less environmentally friendly than being an omnivore.
He discusses it here:

I'd make a fun, outback steak house type menu, with fun, Austrailian-sounding names.

I think deep fryed gator tail. I'm totally serious. I don't know where you could get the stuff but there are a few restaurants in my area (toledo) that serve it and it's really great.
I'm sorry for Steve Irwin and especially for his family.

Why not alligator? It taste like the best chicken you ever ate. The first time I tried it was at a pow-wow. The Indians deep fried it. They serve it at restaurants around here too. If you have never tried it, TRY IT, you'll like it. Oh yes, and monkey bread would be a good choice too.

How about anything that looks like it could bite? Be sure to have him on the TV if you can.
STEVE IRWIN so rocked my world, I thank you for the way you want to thank him for all the memories he gave us.
