Since you choose to eat meat, don't you think you're being a hypocrite when you have a salad on the side, when you have plants in the garden or when you wear synthetic clothing? You could grow your own pigs and calfs, leather looks cool anywhere and surely you could leave us the salad?

So.. Reversing what I'm told doesn't make sense? Then whey should a veggie steer clear from leather shoes, stay off the butter cookies, the milk.. Though vegans make such choices it's not hypocritical to use animals for anything but meat is it?
What does eating meat do to a sense of humour I wonder.

No. Just because you consider your lifestyle choice to be some kind of commitment, the reverse does not apply - the opposite to not eating meat is eating meat, rather than not eating plants. Your self-sacrifice is your own, and does not represent an obligation on my part. Vegetarianism may promote discrimination in which areas of nature are used for human benefit, but opposing vegetarianism is opposing the idea of limiting your choices, not saying that the exact opposite choices must be made. Given set A and set B, set B can be a strict subset of set A - think Venn diagrams. And so on. Whichever way you write it, your logic's off somewhat.

What if one were to grow ones own salad? I cultivate my own vegetables, fruit and salad - would you like me to save you some? Got some lovely Rhubarb.
I would breed my own meat but alas I do not have the space - I am not altogether sure I would have the heart to kill my own lambs (if I had them), I would end up living on a farm. Rabbits now they are easy to catch and just a quick snap of the neck and they are gonners and you wouldn't want them all running around eating your salad. Its my bit for society.
p.s I only eat fair trade and humane meat - never tasted Fois Gras or Veal.

No, I don't feel like a hypocrite. Vegetables are essential to good health. You think I'm going to eat a steady diet of pork? Should I have to wear leather all the time? It can be very expensive. If I grow plants in my garden, there are actually MORE plants around for people to be eating, making it even more rediculous that I should have to "save" all the salad for you. I think it's rediculous that you think I should only eat meat, just because I eat it and you don't.

I'm a chunk of broccoli, leave me out of these questions, my iceburg lettuce cousin is having nitemares, please let them all eat meat and leave the salads out!
This answer makes as much sense as your questions??
if your a veggie, then your a veggie, up to you don't push opinions on any one else, I love meat and my sis is a veggie, up to individual, we don't bother arguing over such trivial nonsense, since animals first walked on the earth, there's always been other animals eating them, we are 99.5% genetically linked to apes and plants, individuals choice.

Since you choose to eat salad leave the potatoes to me. Does that make any sense? If I wear leather it doesn't mean I want to or have room to raise my own cows.
Plants have feelings too, they are after all a living thing. How could you possibly eat them???

Vegetarians are veg because there is enough food other than meat. They have to eat meat if necessary. Human can be even cannibals if there is no meat. The only difference between civilization and anarchy is just three meals.

Having a salad on the side is a more balanced diet. Humans are designed to eat meat.

Wow, I can't believe how much crap you were able to stir with such a blatant joke of a question! Goes to show how some people get their t!ts in a knot when confronted with issues they know nothing about (but pretend to). Good job!

Um. So your are saying that people that eat meat should exclusively eat meat? Well vegetarians choose just to eat vegetarian meals, while meat eaters arent classified into just eating meat meals, they can eat anything they want to. So how that is being a hypocrite is beyond me. You should probably look that word up.
