Indian/Bangladeshi Food is very popular here in the UK.

If I was to open a restaurant in India selling British cuisine,do you think it would be a success or a failure?

I don't think so, because British food to bland compared to Indian food. And Indians love flavor, and that's nothing like Indian cuisine.

Maybe Mexician or Thai food would be a hit. :)

belive me it will surely be a success just make sure to open up in some place like gurgaon mumbai or banglore

for example tonino a italian place in delhi (mehrauli gurgaon road) is very successful;; leave all that masala and spice crap.. indians love to experiment. Just target the right crowd.

I personally LOVE Indian food... Curry chicken and Momo is the best. I've only had Brtish food once for breakfast (steak, eggs and BAKED BEANS!!) Not too bad either.

I don't know; They worship the cow, so forget all things beef; maybe kicked up chicken and fish; how about a simple fish and chips house....

depends on what your 'British food' comprises of - if you can make a slightly spicier version of it, and market it appropriately, it sure is bound to succeed.
