I am over 40 and I too was feeling that way after work, I found that it was not only my diet but I neede more exercise. I now exercise after work and I feel much better. The vitamin B family will help but it is best to execise. If you can exercise at lunch that should give you a little pick me up for the rest of the afternoon on until the evening.

I'm 55 & have had the same problem.. I use Sublinqual B-12 with folic acid. It comes in melt tabs & liguid form. I get it at the Vitamin Shoppe & use their brand ~ http://www.vitaminshoppe.com/store/en/index.jsp?source=Go83
It's 100% natural. The reason for using the product in it's Sublinqual form it is fast actting, perks you up very quickly.
Most Vegans do not get enough B12, but even if you are this has really helped me in the energy department.
After 30 many women start having Thyroid Problems have it checked out. I am on a natural Thyroid meds called Amour.

Try a power nap for about 30 min. when you get home from work. It doesn't matter if you sleep just lay down and give yourself a little break from the action. This would be even better around 2 pm but some work places don't like their employees sleeping on the job unless you work for a mattress company as a tester.

You should talk to you doctor. Being a vegaterian doesnt mean you should feel like this. My mom was a 40 yearold vegan who never too vitamins and had the same problem she talked to her dr and found out she had a tyroid problem. even if you want to take them anyways talk to your dr and see what is recomended for you to take because there is such thing as to much of a vitamin

one a day is all you need, can buy at the $1.00 store, and just as good. Try to get some with Iron for a female.
Other than that, Sinus daytime non-drowsey tabelets is as close to a good pick-me-up legally available nowdays. They don't have enough of anything in em to be addictive either, but work quicker with the fake ephedrine and caffiene to help faster for headaches or menstral annoyances.

if you really are basically vegetarian, that could be why you feel a little sludish, try a protein supplement, and most importantly a calcium supplement, most people on the vegetarian diet, don't understand what they really lose because of what they don't eat, perfectly fine don't worry about it, hey its much better for your heart, but the few little things that by not eating meat, tend not to get enough of, plus try taking a bath when you get home, to relax, might not give you more energy, but it might be just what you need to help you unwind, try those new relaxing bubble baths, i love um, teehee

Maybe you need more protein in your diet. The best booster is B12 - you can get injections from the doctor but you should have bloodwork done by a dr.
