The Coronado Hotel on the island serves a killer brunch with superior sushi and sashimi. Expensive though.

There is a good one in Laguna Hills (Orange County) but I can't recall what it is called. It's in a strip mall with a grocery store, a drug store, a barber, and a video rental shop. You should be able to find it, easy!
