Besides the condom breaking,if the male wearing it or his partner touch the penis and use those same now contaminated hands to place on condom.the germs will transfer from hand to condom as your rolling it down shaft of penis. Now the STD germs are on the outside of condom as well as the inside. So if you put it in your vagina, anus or mouth,it will not be clean.Which is why I dont allow the condom to be put on with hands that played with the penis.Thats why "mom" always said to" wash your hands before you eat."

The condom does not even have to break. There is still a chance of contracting an STD. That was proven in a study in which blue food coloring was injected into STD germs or cells or whatever and put in a condom that was sealed tight and then dropped in a tub of water. The water turned blue.

However I recently saw a story on the news about an HIV free girl who has married a guy with AIDS and thus far they have managed to avoid the spread by always wearing condoms. They even have a child together and Mom and baby are healthy.

condoms r not 100% ie 99% but then also depends on manufacture and the way it is used so u have 1% chance n u could be among the unlucky 1% minority so yes u can catch the disease n that iis only if u use it well so if not, the 1% increases.

Yes. Condoms are a great way to decrease the chances of getting an STD but it is not always 100% accurate.

Having a condom doesn't help at all... you have to use it! Yes, condoms reduce the risk of STDs, but there is still a risk. Sounds like you are not informed enough yet to be having sex. Don't be in such a hurry to grow up!

Condoms are the best protection you can use for prevention of S.T.D.s but unfortunatly they are not 100% fool proof.
When ever you consent to having sex you take that risk unless you now for sure that your partner is free of S.T.D.s.
Think about that for just 1 min.

Yes. For example, genital warts, genital herpes, and crabs, can all be transmitted despite proper condom use. Below is a link to the Center for Disease Control and Preventions information on male latex condoms.

A condom is merely a suggestion. They are not 100% effective.

I'm afraid so, warts and herpes! mainly because the condom only covers the shaft on the penis and you can get these 2 critters anywhere in the pubic area.
