1. I used to be vegetarian.
2. I'm not now.
3. I buy organic food as much as I possibly can, and will only consume meat or dairy products if they are organic.
4. I eat eggs, but only ones produced by my own chickens (who are both fed a solely organic diet).
5. I don't have any problem with meat eaters, vegetarians or vegans. I do however have a problem with bullies.

I've just transferred from vegitarianism to veganism. The way I see it, humans have evolved and no longer require animals in order to survive. The fact that the animals are treated so inhumanely just gives me more motivation. I go to a pretty progressive school and they offer a lot of options as far as healthy / veg lunches, but usually I just buy a Silk and maybe some pita chips with my own hummus. I don't eat much at school.
I have a couple vegetarian friends and a vegan friend, but most of my friends are meat-eaters. It doesn't bother me, I just don't like people who disrespect my choice or try to pick a fight with me all the time. I'm definately up for a little healthy debate, but as someone else said, bullies are just annoying.

I am vegetarian because my whole family is vegetarian. i have some friends that are vegetarians, i would say like 5 of my friends are vegetarian. My school offers vegetarian options so sometimes i buy lunch and sometimes i pack my own lunch. It is fun being vegetarian. I highly recommend being vegetarian because it offers more benefits, and more and more teens and people are now trying to become vegetarians.

I'm not vegetarian or vegan but I used to have a friend when I was in high school who was vegetarian. She chose it on her own. She wasn't vegan but she was a big supporter of animal rights. Her family was fine with it but she had to make her own meals. And the high school we went to did not have many vegetarian options. If you or someone you know is considering becoming vegan or vegetarian, I would recommend always bringing your own lunch. :)

I am a vegan because I did a project on animal cruelty and animal testing, and after long research I decided on my own to become vegan. I am 13 years old and my family has always loved meat, so its a hard thing to deal with. Even today my mother forced meatballs down my throat to get me protien. I told her I could get it from fish, but she refused to not let me eat the meatballs. I have to say not many people approve, they think its wierd. But I still stand for what I believe. I have already made 3 of my friends vegan and I am happy for them. But its hard at lunch because my school never has vegetarian options.

I'm a vegan. I chose this myself after reading up on all the cruelty going on in Factory Farms and seeing some videos online. They were disgusting and I will not participate in the slaughter of any animals.
It's also a very healthy way to live. My family aren't vegans, they aren't even vegetarians, so I cook and clean up for myself every night and morning and I pack my lunch for school. They are mostly supportive of my veggie-ness and I am grateful for that. My uncle is the exception who thinks we are all "weird" and practically threw a veggie burger at me, lol.

I'm a vegetarian, the only one in my family. I have no vegetarian friends, but it's cool. And my school offers really old looking vegetable bowls so I just have artichokes and V8 most of the time for lunch.

hi, yes i am a vegetarian, because i love animals and dont feel that it is right to breed them just to eat them, they are living things too. i chose this on my own, and my family supports me even though they still eat meat. i know only one other person who is a vegetarian that goes to my school, and we aren't really good friends. i pack lunches, because i dont really like school lunches and they have meat in pretty much every meal, unless you want pb and j. i do eat meatless vegan burgers and stuff though, and burger king has a vegetarian sandwich i think. anyways, i hope this helps if you are thinking of becoming vegetarian. it is really easy. good luck!

B/c I don't like the taste of meat. I stopped eating it when I was about 12. None of my friends feel the same way.
