Haha, maybe it's to make you think "herpes doesn't look that bad". I honestly have no idea why they make commercials like that. It's probably to show that you can have a normal life with herpes.

A lot of drug ads are like that. Have you seen the one about the birth control Yasmin, with all the women at this club and then the one women starts going on and on and on about it because she's a "doctor". Most drug ads are pretty stupid.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about four yrs ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a dumb one-night stand. I understand a lot of girls say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/i8LUC everything improved.

Not only was I able to eradicate all remnants of the hsv from my system in less than 3 weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This system provided me the chance to be happy and experience real love again. Now I hope that I can help others by sharing this story.

Because they want to send the message that you can still have a normal life despite herpes and by taking your medicine you won't worry about being itchy since you will have less outbreaks. The last thing you would want to do is outdoorsy stuff it you are itchy so in a way, it makes sense. I don't have herpes but I understand advertising pretty well.
