There are a lot of sufferers of this desease for the last 100 years, but not too many people knows anything about it, and my undestanding is that individuals wih this desease die of a painfull death. What about research?

I'm in remission right now. So far, the course of my disease hasn't been so painful as it has been heartbreaking. Vocal cord paralysis and pulmonary hypertension...those have been hard to deal with, and are a direct result of the sarcoidosis.

Perhaps with the next administration, we can get stem cell research going again for autoimmune diseases. It's a damn shame.

Many patients go into a spontaneous remission. For others steroid therapy is still the treatment. Many patients are merely observed with no treatment, unless the grow worse.

No cure yet...but I am a RRT and they will be a cure one day...have patience.
