Of course the person will die! Look at all the lau chee kohs eating durians while drinking beer at coffeeshops! It's their way of acknowledging that their time is almost up!
The most lethal method of dying is when a sexy old beer promoter walks pass, flaunting her papaya saggy boobs and horrific cellulite legs. The lau chee kohs will choke on their durian seeds while they are in some drunken stupor!

i don't know if there is an food interaction between beer and durian that would kill anybody.
but i know if you take Durian with a carbonated drink, ie coke. you are going to burp a lot and the burp smells very DURIAN. it can potentially kill somebody who don't like the smell of Durian. try it!!

You must be from S.E.A. Such belief is such over there. I've heard so myself. Beer has a 'cooling' effect so will not conflict with durian, but wine will. Tho' yet to get any scientific proof, I've heard of some people who died after doing so.

Don't think so. I have eaten durian with wine, although not in large quantites. Common sense not to go to extremes, not too big quantities of either.
If afraid, just don't combine the two.
