My son had conjestive heart failure 3 and a half years ago and he still smokes a lot or pot. he say's he has a medical prescription for it. I say no Doc in the world would want a heart patient to smoke pot with a heart that only works at 50 per cent or even 100 per cent. who do you think is right?

you are right pot would never be subscribed to a heart patient simply because pot quickens the heart rate

There are tons of people all over the world, including famous musicians and celebrities. For both medicinal and recreational purposes.

But... only a small handful of persons have legal papers to prove they need to use marijuana for a medical condition. Honestly I think your son is lying. These prescriptions are rarely just handed out, you have to be pretty much on your death bed to get approved. Most ppl who can't get approval, self-medicate. That's exactly what I would do.

I think you are right...I don't think Marijuana can even be prescribed. Some states like Oregon and California are toying with it (as is Canada), but only for specific ailments, such as nausea due to cancer chemotherapy. I know of no indication of Marijuana for heart problems, so he is probably making it up. To be sure, ask the name of the doctor (asking to see the prescription could be useless as he may say he used it up in the pharmacy).

Sorry to say this but your son may be lieing to you, but anyway, if he wants to smoke pot so much well why not, it is probably too late now and if he tried to quit smoking pot he would probably get depressed and do something really stupid

It is only prescribed to patients that are suffering from severe and chronic pain..............such as cancer patients. I am confident he is lying..........and to prove it..............just ask to see the written prescription.
