These days......... people go to night clubs to get shot at, get in a brawl or go to jail.

It depends on which nightclub one goes to, because there
are some establishments which are controlled by triads or
gangsters who bully or prey on innocent victims.
So, if the nightclub is classy, well-known and clean from triads
or gangsters, I would go for some good drinking and dancing
with my wife. I think, not much has changed as far as drinking
and dancing are concerned, except more undesirable elements
are added to it, like pushing and taking/smoking of drugs in nightclubs, prostitution involving underage girls, loan sharks
and gang fights etc.

Sadly, for drinking only!
And those who used to dance, now hold a glass for the whole 4, 5 hours without even sipping any just to look cool and fit in..
Also, most club music noawdays are instrumental and beat oriented, not like the early 90's, where you would dance and feel the words of the song.. Nowadays everybody trying to be a gangsta' and lean back by the bar..
But you can't stop my energy baaybeh!! lol

yup thats the scene in a night club.. walk in grab a drink... keep drinking till u get high and then on the dance floor to make a fool of yourself...

I think dancing and having a buzz, cos they have already had other stuff before they entered the nightclub.
So they are only there for the atmosphere

Both.They dance due to the effect of the drink and they drink due to the effect of dance or vice-versa.

Yes they do to make themselves cheered with girls because its only girls due to which people go to nightclubs.
