I used to love meat back when I still ate it. But my taste isn't more important than the life of an animal, and I knew that, so when I found the strength in me and the right motivation, I became a vegetarian. After some time being a vegetarian I noticed that the smell of meat actually made me nauseous, and the same happened with fish. It just smells so foul that I can't believe I used to eat it! Anyway, whether or not one likes the taste, it doesn't matter. It's irrelevant when compared to the moral values and ethics that lead to becoming a vegetarian. Besides, there're so many vegetarian alternatives now that taste like meat that it's not even an issue anymore.

I'm not sure what the question is, but I do agree with you. You cannot claim to be a vegetarian if you eat meat. You can't claim to be vegan if you eat eggs or milk from an animal. I have thought many of times that I would like to be a vegetarian just because of the gross way the big wigs prepare the meat, if you ever hear about it, it isn't pretty. I love meat, though, so I don't think I can do it, but I definitely can't kill an animal on my own, though. Anyway, your right.

I'm a veg head. However, some veggies are like me, they just can't digest meat. Others are political vegetarians and these are the ones who don't eat meat for ethical reasons. However, Hindu's, Buddhists and Jains do not eat meat due to religious reasons. I think being a veggie really is very subjective. I like meat but I just can't stomach it.
Hope that helps.

A lot of vegetarian say "I don't eat meat except for chicken and fish" Or they say "I'm a vegetarian . i only eat meat sometimes"
It annoys me. Its like people say they are vegetarians to fit in to some groups or social circles.
Just the other day I ordered a veggie burger from BK and the man at the counter said "You are a vegetarian?" I said "yes" he says, "do you eat any meat?" I said, "No, I said I was a vegetarian. This means i don't eat any meat!"
Anyway, I'm true vegetarian. I eat no meat. I eat no flesh from any animal.

I'm a vegetarian and I like meat but I control myself. It happens to me that I see other ppl eating beef for example and I go crazy but still I don't eat it cuz I've decided that I won't eat. I don't think it's a matter of liking or not liking, I think it's more a matter of eating or not eating.
