Tell you what, both have the choice to spiciness when ordered.... ask the chef for extra habenero or the dried finger peppers on the side.. that will kick it up a notch!

I have discovered from experience that Thai food tends to be a lot spicier than Korean.

I have eaten both korean and thai food and I must say that
thai food, in general, is much spicier. So, if you love spicy
food, go for thai food, especially the "tom yam" seafood
soup. Okay?

In my experience Korean food overall is spicier. The basil and coconut flavors in a lot of Thai foods tend to mellow out any heat.

I've lived in both places. I never found Korean food that I couldn't handle the spiciness. I can't say the same of Thai food by a long shot.

I think Thai is spicier. I knew a person that cooked their cultural food and is very very spicy. Food was so spicy it burned through my whole system from begining to the end. Painful experience and very memorable time for me. I remember having to drink allot of milk to cut the hotness from theri food.
