Are any of these bllod thinners?

No blood thinners are heparin, lovenox, aspirin, coumadin, plavix (in some cases), pletal and a few others
Lipitor is a lipid lowering medicine for cholesterol, Norvasc is a calcium channel blocker used to control blood pressure. Atenolol is a beta blocker used to help with heart rate/blood pressure.

Lipitor is for cholesterol control,norvasc and atenolol are for blood pressure. Heparin and Coumadin and aspirin are blood thinners. There are others,I just know those.

No. Norvasc and Atenolol are medications that treat hypertension (high blood pressure). I think Lipitor may be used to treat high cholesterol.

No none of those are blood thinners some examples of blood thinners would be
1) Aspirin
2) Coumadin (Warfarin)
3) Heparin -an injectable medication
4) Lovenox (Enoxaparin) -another injectable medication

norvasc (amlodipine): it's an anti-hypertensive agent (calcium-channel blocker)
atenolol: it's an anti-hypertensive agent (beta-blocker)

blood thinners are usually aspirin, clopidrogel, warfarin

"Blood thinner" is a misnomer. Chemicals such as warfarin, heparin and acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) generally inhibit the blood clotting mechanism, but the blood does not become "thinner" as a result.
