it is. just don't put to much. what you should do is put a little at first and just mix it into the rice. add a little until you find the right amount that you like.

It depends on the type of cuisine your having. Certain types of chinese food tastes better when soy sauce is used during cooking. Everyone (I think) eats sushi with soy sauce and often with wasabi.

If you're thinking about eating a bowl of plain rice with soy sauce, I wouldn't do it, but it's your choice

Soy sauce is very good. It gives a salty flavor and it really helps with the plan flavor of rice. I use it heavily on fice and on meat for a better flavor as well.

It's salty, and it's delicious!

Different brands can taste very different. One of my favourites is Kikkoman. It's lighter than other soy sauces, great on rice and for dipping sushi and sachimi in. YUMMY!

You can make dips for dumplings and goyza - a Japanese perogie

good soy sauce is delicious - i like kikkoman, and it makes lots of different foods taste great. I have some great chicken recipes with it, and of course sushi without soy sauce and wasabi isn't much to talk about

I think it is pretty good. It isn't really an aquired taste, and it's not very bizzare; so you would probably like it. In my opinion it actually tastes a little salty. I can't really tell you if you would like it though; that's just one of those things that you have to figure out for yourself.

It's seasoning product so it's not good by itself. also, cheap Chinese food soy sauce is awfully bad. Try Kikkoman or Yamasa brand. Good Chinese restaurants and Japanese restaurants use these.

it's pretty good on rice! it'll make it salty though and it's kind of liquidy. I personally don't like it on rice but i like it on everything else like hamburger and chicken. I've seen ppl put it on spaghetti even (!).
