So, there are many different kinds of STD's. Some are caused by bacteria - Chlamydia, Syphillis, Gonorrhea are some examples. These are all curable if they are treated with the appropriate antibiotics.

Other STD's are caused by viruses: HIV (causes AIDS), HPV (causes genital warts/cervical cancer), HSV (causes herpes). While there is treatment for all of these, there is no cure. HPV frequently does resolve/go away on its own. Some people, however, can get a chronic infection with the virus, with recurrent genital warts. Also, there are some forms of the virus that are well known to cause cervical cancer. In fact, the HPV virus is the number one cause of cervical cancer. There is a new vaccine out, just approved by the FDA, to prevent you from getting most of the forms of the HPV virus, including the ones that cause cancer. Getting your routine pap smears can also reduce your risk of serious illness from cervical cancer by detecting it early.

Hope that helps.

I got identified with herpes virus (type 2) about four years ago, when I was still in college and had a dumb one-night stand. I know lots of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The worst part was feeling I could never date other men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone who has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/X6qHQ everything improved.

Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the hsv from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to start dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just last week, in front of everybody in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This method provided the chance to be happy and experience true love again. Now I hope that I can help others too by sharing this story.

I believe she meant, "does anyone online (here, now) have an STD, and if so, can it turn to cancer".

I first suggest that you make an appointment with a Gynecologist if you feel you may have an STD.

Regarding cancer and STD's, you may want to read the following regarding HPV (Human Papillomavirus) which is an STD.

In women, high-risk types of HPV (Human Papillomavirus) cause changes in the cells of the cervix that can be seen as abnormal changes on a Pap test. Abnormal cervical cell changes may resolve on their own without treatment. However, some untreated cervical cell changes can progress to serious abnormalities and may lead to cervical cancer.

An HPV test may be done as follow up to an abnormal Pap test. An HPV test can help determine whether one or more high-risk types of HPV caused the abnormal Pap test result. An HPV test is done to determine the cause of minor cervical cell changes of unknown cause, or ASC (atypical squamous cells). If an HPV test shows that high-risk types of HPV are present, further testing, such as a colposcopy or cervical biopsy, may be recommended.

The HPV DNA test is available to check for human papillomavirus in women with abnormal Pap tests. The test is done at the same time as the Pap test. The results of this test can help doctors decide if further tests or treatments are needed.

If the findings of the test prove that one or more high-risk types of HPV are present, this indicates that you MAY be at an increased risk of having precancerous cervical cell changes, further testing such as colposcopy or cervical biopsy may be recommended by your health professional.

Please make an appointment. STD's do not go away on their own. You must seek medical help.

How do you get an STD online? What do you mean? If you're talking about HPV it usually goes away on its own. Have a checkup every 6 months to make sure.

The only thing that I can think of that causes cancer is HPV which itself is caused by an STD.
