The most easy dish that is a favourite in my family is what my wife calls Hungarian stew. You take thin slices of beef and fry them up with onions. Add water to within 1"of rim, salt and sweet KALOCSAI paprika. Cover and simmer for one hour to hour and a half. Pour over extra wide egg noodles. Serve with garlic bread. Really good stuff ! Keep it (REAL), keep it (SIMPLE) most of the dishes on line were (doctored to appeal to a wider majority) And you stated... "authentic" Puppykosh and chicken puppykosh. Just substitute chicken for beef and add sour cream to above recipe!
