I have never seen an almond inside a olive, but I know that olives have PITS if that is what you are talking about.

Olives have pits, almonds are nuts, they are two separate things. And yes, the pits do resemble almonds, but they don't "get inside" them and do not grow in them.

The orchards graft olive branches on to the almond trees. Actually, it's done by underpaid foreigners.

they just put it inside the olives after the pitts are remove. they use it in cocktails.
