Absolutely. I also have HPV and have had it over 5 years. I have personally not had a baby yet, but I have talked to my doctor and many women who have HPV and have had perfect babies.

HPV is not transmitted to the baby like HIV and herpes (rarely) can be. My doctor has told me I should have no problems with passing HPV to my baby. The only thing I have heard of happening during pregnancy is if you have warts they may grow faster than usual, but it doesn't affect your baby.

Good luck to you and your baby!

Of course you can have a baby when you have HPV - it is one of the most common STDs and loads of people have it and have no idea, because it doesn't show up all the time. If you have the warts version then if you have an outbreak at the time of delivery I think they prefer to do a c-section. Your child is not at a risk for it either. The main reason women get pap smears is to detect a type of cancer that HPV causes - so make sure to always get your yearly gyn exams (it may be more often since you are HPV positive).
