people who hassle you are not opened minded.
I do not judge. I like meat and I like plants I do not eat enough plants, it is true but that is my choice. I do not judge you for not eating the way I eat. but you should not feel you are right just and we who chose to eat meat are wrong. It is a life choice.
the same can be said for being gay. if a person decides to live there life a certain way that is up to them.

I used to be a strict vegan, but then I found out I also had celiac, so now I eat a bit of meat because all the veggie burgers and flavored tofu, etc have wheat or oats or barley in them. I loved being a vegetarian, except for that part. My friend even told me that it was against the bible to be a vegetarian. I have no idea why they can't get the idea into their thick heads that some people would rather not eat something that was alive!

Gosh, it's so annoying.

I'm a vegetarian and I also resent the harassment. However, attitudes like yours ("we are right and you are wrong") can only contribute to the problem. Nobody likes to be told "you are wrong." And, in fact, many of us do not believe that the meat-eaters are wrong, but rather believe that each and every one of us has choices to make in life and their choice is simply different from ours. I got angry about a question earlier today from a meat-eater who said vegetarianism was stupid (I told him he was ignorant, not because he ate meat, but because he referred to a perfectly valid choice, and thus all those who have made the choice, as "stupid") but yours isn't much better. If we as vegetarians could try to be more respectful of their side, perhaps we'd be receiving less harassment. It's a two-way street after all.

My first concept will be that you've gotten an iron deficency that can make you sense this kind, yet you could also have low ranges of magnesium, nutrition B-12, or sodium. a lack of power in a vegetarian weight-relief plan may element out you aren't getting sufficient protein or fat, your body desires those to construct/ preserve muscle & save/use power. in case you do not eat or drink milk and dairy products both you're in possibility for a available calcium deficency. in case you at the on the spot are not getting sufficient nutrition D, that can make you sense extremely drained too. each in certain situations a hormone imbalance can make you very drained- in case you eat an excellent type of greens burgers, soy milk, or different meat substitutes containing soy, observe that some analyze element out soy can influence hormone ranges (mainly estrogen) in some women. yet observe that your situation may not be fullyyt (or in any respect!) concerning your weight-relief plan. My advice will be to ensure YOUR well being care service about this. tell him/her about each little thing, including your weight-relief plan, kinfolk/own clinical heritage, sleep kinds, rigidity element, & indications- even those you do not imagine understand that a lot! Your well being care service could do blood tests for such issues as anemia, diabetes, lyme disease, nutrition deficencies, mono, and immune circumstances; as well as examine your thyroid and your hormone ranges and such. good success!

Cause everyone who eats meat hasn't seen the... error in their ways. They don't see why we are vegetarians, and they think everyone should be like them. they don't know how bad it is to the animals they're eating, or they dont care. They won't stop, no matter what, because they can't comprehend that they are doing something wrong and they don't want to be different and go out of their way to be vegetarians or vegans.

There is nothing worse than trying to eat a meal and having someone comment on how what I am eating is wrong. I am fully aware that it is meat or an animal by-product thank you very much. I also know where it comes from. You're not eating it, I am. You're not saving any animals, just giving me a headache. I'm sure you don't want me to preach to you about how tasty my string cheese is and how you should love it just like I do. No one is right or wrong in the case of what we choose to nourish our bodies with, so give it up.

Ha Ha Ha...Oh goodness you are a funny one.
Where on earth did you come up with the idea that you are right for being a vegetarian?
Being a Vegetarian is your CHOICE, just as eating meat is my CHOICE. There is no "right" or "wrong" just personal preferance.
You don't eat meat...Big Deal..who Cares?

Now where are those slim jims?

Why is it important not to eat meat? Are you a TRUE vegetarian or do you just want to pretend to be? Let me guess, you don't have anything leather? You don't eat or drink ANYTHING with milk in it? What types of personal products do you buy? Have anything with whey in it? That comes from milk. Think about that! And have you ever thought about what is put on the vegetables you eat to fertilize them? Cow, chicken, pig, or turkey crap. That makes the best fertilizer to make the vegetables grow faster to feed the millions and millions of people in the US. Think about that.

I don't care about what anyone eats. I know what I do and I never, never judge people for what they do, eat or drink. But it seems you do!!!

I have never harassed anyone for not eating meat but I have been called a number of bad things for eating it(especially something like veal).
I have also been harassed because I am a smoker.
I have also been called names because of my political views.
I do stand up for myself and my rights when I am harassed but I have NEVER called anyone names for any of these reasons.

Your are right...and they are wrong. Eating meat is barbaric. We are not neanderthals anymore. We are a somewhat civilized society and we realize that animals have feelings too. Meat eaters don't understand that. I am a vegetarian and i get picked on for that all the time but i don't care....bad karma comes around to haunt you without fail. Just stay strong and stay vegetarian, its the right humane choice.
