A romantic at heart! I agree, spaghetti is always a favorite. Cook your noodles, you can buy great tasting store bought sauce and frozen meatballs, garlic bread from the frozen foods section, a side salad; again already prepared in a bag in the produce department, a bakery cheesecake with canned cherry pie filling drizzled on top, romantic music and of course candles in a dim lit room. You can't go wrong. No matter what he'll be pleased just to be with you.

For me it depends on where we are in the relationship. New, spaghetti (it's simple). Established, I'll either do the steak ( like the other lady suggested), or lobster (too easy) with the baked potato and a salad. Knowing some of his favorite foods can help, although, if he's open to new things-fix him a favorite of yours. It can fun for you to share a favorite meal for future dinners.

Buy a turkey and all the trimmings like a second thanksgiving! Or you can never go wrong with fried chicken! Men love sub sandwiches too. Top it off with an ooey gooey chocolate cake!

you can never go wrong with whatever he likes. you'd be surprised how picky some men can be about their food, especially if their health nuts. try asking him for a list of favorites in advance, then surprise him every once in a while with meals from the list. also include some of your own favorites or a new food neither of you have tried that might become both your favorites.
