No, blood only can confirm and then you need to be retested 3 months after exposure as it can take this long to manifest.

If you are showing symptoms or even think there is a possibility you have been exposed to HIV go immediately and get a blood test. that is the only way I know of. But this is serious don't play around this is your life we are talking about. The local health dept usually gives free testing. Run to the phone and call now.

I'm pretty sure there are saliva tests. As far as symptoms that you would feel go... I think it would have to be advanced to a AIDS. Go get a blood test!!! If you have HIV it is best to treat it early on so that you can keep your immune system.

Planned Parenthood offers urine testing. Less conclusive than a blood sample, but better to make this effort than live in doubt. Call the local Planned Parenthood office in your community and get the best advice available.

There are other tests now that involve a swab from the inside of the mouth. Talk to medical people who know. There are free places to go in every major city.

yes, your clinical presentation may be helpfull for screening, blood test is the best way but virus can be obtained by your other body fluids & secretions( but in little quantity) although enough for lab diagnosis,
but for yourself, deterioration in health, your life style ,your contact(especially sex) deterrminesit to you.
