I assume that you're Diabetic, buy saying that you had your sugar under control.

I am a Diabetic and eat whatever I want to eat, I just do not eat it like there is no tomorrow.

I know that if you are on a Diabetic diet that can derail anyone.

The thing I learned was that Diabetics can eat what every one else eats, just cook it differently.

A good place for you to get ideas is: www.recipes.com

Good luck and don't beat yourself up. Being Diabetic is no walk in the park, but you can get a handle on it and eat what you want and be fine while doing it!

Try eating from 8in plates. If it doesnt fit on the plate, dont eat it.
You should eat what only fits into your stomach size.
this is a start. I to am diabetic and I struggle with control.
To eat by the diabetic diet can be expensive, so the end of the month anything goes.
Remember your insulin stores fat as well as your diet. We need to be double careful.
I totally understand eating the same thing. Try to avoid fast burning foods. Peanuts/mixed nuts are really good for you also. Did you know it can even lower cholesterol? It does.

Your best bet is a dietitian you can eat anything when you know how and when and they tell you. Too much of anything with diabetes causes terrible side effects that can cause further health problems I ask my son do you like to walk see and function or do you want no limbs sight and to be on a list for replacement parts.
