I just got tested for STDs for the first time yesterday. I have had no symptoms leading me to believe that I have an STD, but thought it would be a good idea to get checked. This involved a penis swab to check for chlamydia. It hurt pretty bad. The doctor did a quick examination of the culture and said everything looked normal. He said there would be a tingling sensation the next time I urinated because of the chemicals on the swab.
Far from a "tingling" sensation - it now is extremely painful to urinate. For the first few seconds, it's intense, then after I'm finished, there are random periods where my penis is very sensitive. This lasts about 30 minutes after I've urinated. It's been a little less than 24 hours now since I've had this done -- should I be worried? Like I said, I never had this problem before the swab yesterday...
