don't worry, this isn't a stupid question like the guy above said. it's actually good that you are concerned about your health.
do you know what causes your high blood pressure? and to answer your question about flying, it may be unsafe if you have hypertension at the time you're going on the plane, because the altitude or the pressure while you're in the air is different. usually planes are pressurized, but for a person with health problems, it's not adequate.
i do suggest you speak to your physician first before you fly, to determine if it's safe for you to take the plane. and also if there are any ways you can decrease your blood pressure.

Are you taking meds to control your blood pressure? My mom has very high blood pressure and takes medication. She flies all the time. The air in the cabin is pressurized. If in doubt contact a Dr who knows what he is talking about, or call the airline on which you would like to fly.

Of all the people who fly today, Im sure others have high blood pressure--some without even realizing it--and nothing bad happens. I feel confident that you will be fine. Your pressure may fluxuate but not to a dangerour level.

High blood pressure: Stress, sodium, being overweight, eating too much red meat, genetics, heart disease, plaque build up...the list goes on. One thing you could do is cut down on the amount of meat you eat, especially red meat...eat good meats like chicken and fish but keep it to a good limit. Drink water regularly, get plenty of sleep every night, and minimize the stress in your life. There are also medications that help with this. Call your doctor and schedule an appointment to have yourself checked out.

why not get ur blood pressure under control. drugs like Hyzaar work pretty well for a lot of people. See your physician. Otherwise I see no reason why u cannot fly, but ask your doctor about this too.

To my knowledge, there's nothing preventing you from using a plane. What you may need to be informed about however is your increased risk of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) should your flight be a long-haul one. Hypertension is a known risk factor for DVT so I think you should consider taking some precautions such as for example using appropriate stockings, getting up and walking on the plane eveyr now and then and so on.

If people with high BP couldn't fly on planes, then there sure are a lot of them doing it illegally. It is estimated that high BP is so common, that one in three have it.

You can always ask a specialist online. Qualified live support at http://mypharmacy.be is always at your service. Maybe you also need medications for that, because this can be quiet dangerous.
