well, I would research first to see what nutrients you will be losing by cutting out meat from your diet. Find a way to supplement. For example, spinach and chick peas are a good source of iron. Or take a multi-vitamin. Do it in a healthy way for sure so that you don't become sick.

Just read and do your research online and get plenty of recipes so you can stay satisfied. This will keep you from giving into cravings that would cause you to break your vegetarian diet. Then just take it one day at a time. Before you know it, you are a vegetarian without thought. It will become a natural part of your everyday life.

Also, do not listen to these idiot meat eaters on Yahoo! Answers. Meat eaters are without logic or morals.

Understanding the food chain; knowing that your body is a temple and understanding that we are what we eat. God's first things God created were: light, water and living "etes" (leafy trees) and "everything was good." Fresh leafy foods release energy and oxygen--cancer-fighting agents. I would take an intestinal cleans first to remove unhealthy parasites from the system first: cascara is the best. Read, cleanse and rebuild your temple spiritually, mentally and physically. The ultimate challenge in life is the perfect those three first. When those three are in harmony, seek compatibility in financial and social relationships. Can you imagine if those were instilled in us in high school?

There are many types of vegetarianism. from ovo-lacto to full blown vegan. 1) Probably the first step is to cut red meat out of your diet. So at first stop eating beef, pork, lamb, etc... Basically all mammals. 2) Then cut out birds from your diet (chicken, turkey, duck, etc...). 3) Next cut out seafood and fish. 4)Eventually you can cut out eggs. 5) And finally if you want to be vegan all animal products (like dairy and honey).

The first step is to ask yourself, "why do i want to be a vegetarian"; is it for moral, personal, or health reasons. Then you start eliminating what you don't want in your diet.

You *can* devour something you elect for. whether, for a lacto-ovo vegetarian, you would be eating something different than animal flesh. whether, like Veggiefan pronounced, the milk and egg industries harm animals too. in certainty, they are way worse than the beef industries. in case you drink milk or devour cheese, you're killing a calf and raping his or her mom. in case you devour eggs, you're killing male chicks. And the cows and chickens exploited for milk and eggs are slaughtered and grew to become into speedy nutrition interior the top besides. in case you elect for to help animals, you ought to circulate vegan.
